As a Front-of-House Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and exceptional service delivery at our vibrant Innovation City office in Cape Town. This role wears many hats, providing top-notch customer service and member hospitality, assisting with daily tasks, and supporting the Service Desk administration. Responsibilities
Customer Service Champion:
Serve as the welcoming face of Innovation City, providing exceptional service to all visitors and members.
Address inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the Service Team to proactively engage with the community.
Service Desk and Office Administration Ace:
Manage Service Desk administration to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Coordinate office facilities, track and order supplies, process invoices, and support office events.
Liaise with cleaning staff to maintain meeting rooms.
Perform ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to various aspects of office management.
Member Hospitality Expert:
Provide prompt and effective support to Innovation City members and visitors.
Manage meeting room bookings, parking bays, WiFi access, and AV & printing equipment.
Utilize Nexudus (member portal software) and manage the service desk inbox, responding to inquiries and allocating requests.
Technical Skills
2 + years of experience in Reception/Office Administration
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suite
