Our Club Travel division is looking for an ITC Accounts Administrator to join the team!


About the role

To render an accounting service to an assigned group of Independent Travel agencies affiliated to Club Travel by efficiently managing and executing various duties and functions.

Key Responsibilities: (Overview, but is not limited to the full function of the role)

  • Managing the full bookkeeping function to Trial Balance for relevant clients (within agreed deadlines)
  • Ensuring all ITC ticket payments are received and allocated
  • Customer Account allocations
  • Delivering excellent customer service by resolving all queries within turnaround time
  • Ensure payment of customer commissions /refunds within payment terms
  • Capturing of payments
  • Charging of applicable fees
  • Processing of various commissions
  • Compiling month end packs within deadline
  • Sending off month end packs to clients within deadline
  • Submit ITC payments to banking within deadline
  • Assist the banking department with identifying receipting
  • Liaising with various departments within Club Travel
  • Execution of any other functions assigned within the department
  • Assist with special projects/the implementation of projects
  • General Administration
  • Assisting with audit

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum NQF6 Financial or Accounting qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years Debtors /Accounting Administrator experience
  • Profin knowledge advantageous
  • Possess competent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Possess effective organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on deadline.
  • Excel Skills - Intermediate Level
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • An ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for information
  • Advantageous - analytical skills and the ability to create useful and actionable reports from data
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team and/or independently

The Finance Team serves to support the ClubTravel B2B business, by effectively fulfilling these responsibilities and demonstrating the required knowledge, skills, and competencies. This will contribute significantly to the financial success and sustainability of the Club Travel Group.
